Bob Lyons Chairman Bob Lyon worked for ANZ Banking Group as Managing Director from 1965 – 2008. Bob has extensive board experience across Australia, Asia and the Pacific in the areas of banking, finance, marketing and telecommunications. He is currently Chairman of Fiji Development Bank and Chairman of Kula Fund II (private equity) Investment Committee.

Paul Makumbe Founder and CEO Paul has extensive senior leadership experience across the Australian, New Zealand and Pacific Island markets. As CEO of Oceanic Communications Limited, he grew the company into a multinational organization in 6 countries and was awarded 3 prizes in the Fast 50 competition. Paul is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the company.

Ajay Raniga Co founder and Director, Business Development Ajay is a New Zealand trained pharmacist who has worked in New Zealand as well as Fiji. Ajay is the current President for the Fiji Australia Business Council, the Board Chairman of the International School in Nadi, and a Director with Denarau Real Estates Ltd. His business interests include retail and wholesale pharmaceutical, spas, and resort stores. Ajay is responsible for international business development across the Pacific.

He is founder of Lachlan McPherson & Friends and was partner and Executive Creative Director of Publicis Mojo New Zealand. Lachlan is one of the most awarded creative people in the region and in 2010 was a judge at Cannes, the world’s most respected advertising creativity festival. Lachlan is responsible for marketing and brand development.

Nick Worthington Director New Zealand Nick is the Creative Chairman for Colenso BBDO. With over 25 years in the advertising industry, Nick has won multiple international awards for his creative work in New Zealand, Australia and the UK. Nick is responsible for the operations of Sunergise in the New Zealand market.

Jen Scott Director Strategy Jen has a background in international development and energy policy, with a focus on small island developing states. Her professional experience includes time with the UN in the Maldives and as part of the World Bank’s Energy and Extractives team working throughout the Asia Pacific region. Jen is responsible for strategy and SunAccess, our community solar solution, across the group.

Bruce Clay Chief Technical Officer Bruce Clay is an engineer who specializes in the application of renewable energy technologies. He has technical experience in the deployment of remote area power systems utilizing wind, solar and diesel generation. Energy auditing and demand side management, renewable energy resource assessment, power system economics, financial feasibility studies and business development form a part of his non-technical experience, having spent the last 15 years as owner and CEO of a leading renewable energy EPC company (Clay Energy) in the Pacific region.

Jone Waqainabete Chief Financial Officer Jone is a Chartered Accountant(ANZ and Fiji) with extensive experience in corporate finance, accounting and auditing across a broad range of industry sectors and regions. After completing his MBA, Jone founded a company introducing solar energy to rural and remote areas. Jone also has extensive project accounting experience in Australia as Manager Finance of the Australian Solar City Project with Ergon Energy, Queensland. Prior to joining Ergon Energy, Jone was Senior Auditor with PricewaterhouseCoopers (Australia) with audit experience in Australia and the UK.

Praneel Kumar Senior Design Engineer Praneel joined the renewable energy industry knowing that the demand for electrical energy will increase day by day. Praneel leads the team of engineers conducting site visits, power consumption analysis, designing on-grid and off-grid solar power systems and providing customer training and support.
